Inside Rathbone's Dock Longford Bridge |

| T2209 Along the reaches of the Bridgewater Canal many boat yards sprung up to repair the barges using the canal. One such yard was Rathbone's Brothers at Longford Bridge in Stretford. Although the yard has now gone, to be replaced by housing, the entrance to the dry dock can still be seen. |
