Manchester New Dock

Manchester New Dock

T2451  No 9 Dock slowly being filled with water prior to its opening. The wall holding back the water has been drilled ready to take the explosives that were used to demolish it. The Dock was opened in 1905 by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra.
