| T2207. Trafford Road Swing Bridge crossed the Manchester Ship Canal at Old Trafford. As well as being a main route to the docks for motor vehicles it was, at the time this photograph was taken, a route for the tram services serving the local area. It was built as a swing road bridge to allow free passage to shipping heading for Pomona. | |
