Barton Power Station

Barton Power Station

T2231. Barton Power Station was constructed in the 1920s and was one of the most advanced power stations of the time, receiving coal from barges on the Bridgewater Canal. The Power Station closed in March of 1974, and was demolished at the end of the 1970s.
